The parody music video that impersonates the rehab of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ritchie has already won two major awards at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) for Best Direction, Best Short Video and Best Music. Parody4Charity produced the 4-minute short to support, Media4Humanity a New York-based charity working towards eliminating human trafficking. The film stars Ashley Michaelsen, Tiffany Lee and Kimberly Magness and features the voice of famed vocalist Zelma Davis (C + C Music Factory), singing “Plastic Paris,” a catchy and clever spoof of the country classic “Plastic Jesus.” The song parodies the trio’s mission as they seek image rehabilitation. The reaction from Cannes attendees is “overwhelming” says Itsi Atkins the film’s writer and producer.
