BEVERLY HILLS, California (AP) — Lindsay Lohan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday after her convertible struck a curb, and investigators found what they suspect is cocaine at the scene, police said. Lohan, 20, and two other people were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 when it crashed on Sunset Boulevard around 5:30 a.m., Sgt. Mike Foxen said. It appeared Lohan was speeding, Lt. Mitch McCann said at an afternoon news conference. Officers at the scene found a “usable amount” of a drug tentatively identified as cocaine, McCann said. He declined to say where the drug was found other than to say Lohan was not carrying it. Lohan, who spent time at a rehabilitation center earlier this year, was driven in another car to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, McCann said. The two other people in her car were not hurt. Officers received a 911 call about the accident and arrested Lohan at the hospital for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, McCann said.

Officers believe that Lindsay was speeding – under the influence of drugs/alcohol – and lost control of her car on Saturday morning. Cops said they found traces of blow in Lohan’s blood on May 26.The car hit a crashed into a curb and a tree on Sunset Blvd, about 5 blocks from her house. DJ Samantha Ronson left Lindsay’s place, walking up Doheny to Sunset and Lindsay went after her. Lindsay caught up with Samantha as she was in the median of the four-lane Sunset Blvd. Then she tried to talk to Sam they were screaming, obviously arguing, and Lindsay was heard by our photographer saying, “You f-bomb lesbian bitch.” Police received a 911 call about the accident after Lindsay abandoned her banged up Mercedes and fled the scene of the incident. Lindsay Lohan had been partying at SkyBar and Les Deux the night of her crash. Her bodyguard was driving her around. At 5:30am she got back in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible with and two other people and headed towards Beverly Hills. They took off down Sunset gunning the car. Lindsay was going west on Sunset and lost control of the car, veering off on to Foothill, jumping the curb, and crashing into a hedge. She lost control of her car and crashed. Lohan was taken in another car to the Century City hospital. In addition to the drunk driving dilemma, she will also face felony criminal charges for the illegal narcotics in her car.”She was cited and released because she has been admitted to a local hospital for minor injuries,” Sgt. Mike Foxen said. Lilo, stars in the upcoming movie I Know Who Killed me, was spotted out at the Hollywood club Les Deux. Also at the club were singer James Blunt and Paris Hilton, who was recently ordered to 45 days in jail for violating her probation. Hilton was charged with a DUI in September 2006.Police released Lohan but she is expected to appear before a judge on August 24th and could face criminal charges.Her father believes that she needs to turn to religion in order to set her life straight. When asked directly if Ms. Lohan has a drinking problem, he responded: “Anything that causes a problem when you do it is a problem. As far as what they found in that car, whether it was Lindsay’s or anyone else’s, every person in that car is accountable.”He also believes that some housecleaning is in order. “Lindsay needs to clean house and start all over again from the beginning with the people that were with her in the beginning, and that’s her family.” Lindsay Lohan’s father also says the actress suffers from multiple addictions, including alcohol and the painkiller OxyContin. Lindsay Lohan is reportedly heading back to rehab just days after police discovered cocaine in a car she crashed in Hollywood. Brit pop star Lily Allen blasted Lindsay Lohan, after she was “thrown off” a table at club Les Deux over the weekend. Posting a message MySpace mocking Lohan over her arrest for driving under the influence (Dui) on Saturday night. “We went to this club called Les Deux and that was really fun until Lindsay Lohan turned up and had us thrown off our table.
