Lindsay Lohan Whitney Museum Event

Lindsay Lohan made another public appearance recently, visiting the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York on Monday for the 2009 Whitney Museum Gala. Lindsay looked a bit out of sorts, showing some wear and tear after a lot of recent travelling.

In other Lindsay Lohan news, Lindsay’s probation for her 2007 drunk driving conviction was extended by a year. The judge said that Lohan had failed to complete alchohol counseling required by the court, so the additional year of probation was required so she could complete that counseling.

Judge Marsha Revel told Lindsay: “This is the last time we are going to be talking about re-enrolling and doing what you need to do, I am rooting for you to successfully complete probation.”

Lindsay Lohan has had enough of crackpot father Michael Lohan abusing her in the media and contacting her. Lohan has applied for a restraining order to prevent Michael Lohan from contacting her!

A source close to Lindsay told People magazine: “Lindsay is actively getting a restraining order, her lawyer has already been contacted. She’s scared. This is really serious.”

Michael Lohan has recently been in the press talking about Lindsay’s alleged prescription drug problems and has mentioned plans to ‘kidnap’ Lindsay so he can take her to an undisclosed location where she can get sober.

Michael Lohan said recently: “I’m going to see the judge this week. If I can’t get a conservatorship, then I’m going to take her to an undisclosed location and get her straight. But I know I’m gonna get charged with kidnapping.”

I say good for Lindsay, Michael Lohan’s recent bashing of her in the media is not good parenting. Apparently Michael Lohan is 6 months behind in paying child support. Yeah, good parenting!?

Lindsay Lohan’s father has claimed that he knows her daughter buys prescription drugs from one of Hollywood’s biggest dealers.

Michael Lohan (Lindsay Lohan’s dearest daddy), is ramping up on his crazy claims about Lindsay and her lifestyle. Recently Lohan Sr accused Lohan of being ‘vacant inside’ as she was addicted to so many prescription drugs.

Now Michael Lohan says he fears Lindsay’s drug addiction is being fueled by a well known dealer whose clientele mainly consists of celebrities. Michael Lohan told RadarOnline.com: “This guy follows Lindsay all over the place. All over. Lindsay pays for him to go everywhere. He has no job. No job. He does nothing. All he does is supply everyone in L.A,”

Michael Lohan says he is trying to get Lindsay off drugs: “I’m going to get her off the prescription drugs that she’s on… When you hug her she’s like, vacant inside. When she kisses or holds me I get chills, and not in a good way – in a bad way. She’s a different person,”

Yeah well alienating your daughter by spouting this dribble to the press won’t put you in her good books. Michael Lohan, once again showing people how not to parent.

Looks like Lindsay is in back in court for prior offences! Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel has told Lindsay Lohan to be appear in Beverly HIlls court this coming Monday.

Lohan was placed on probation in 2007, for three years for numerous offences. The offences included two counts of influence under cocaine, two counts of drunken driving and one count of reckless driving. After being arrested, Lindsay spent 84 minutes in jail.

Court records show that no warrant has been issued, and they do not reflect a probation violation has occurred. Lindsay has apparently been a good girl, so we wait with interest to see what the judge wants!

Apparently there have been a number of celebrities abandoning Twitter recently (led by Miley Cyrus), but Lindsay is standing by twitter despite recent humiliating tweets!

Lohan has been using twitter to chat to Samantha Ronson, her ex-girlfriend. It’s all a bit sad!
Lindsay Tweets: “Samantha Ronson doesn’t respond 2me b/c her family will cut her off if she contacts me…They control the one I love & I’m incapable of making any sort of difference. I’m in love with her, as she is in love with me…but her loved ones hate her brilliance & resent her happiness”.

Wow, is such baring of emotions right for Twitter, the chat service where people mostly talk about what they just ate or the weather. Any wonder why Ronson doesn’t respond, you just called her out via a public internet chat service with a comment read by a few thousand people!

Lindsay has also been trading insults via twitter with waste of space gay fatso Perez Hilton. Seriously Lindsay, there must be better things for you to do, like getting your film career back on track?

Lindsay Lohan’s mom Dina Lohan has gone on the attack! Dina has verbally abused fashion critics who rated Lindsay’s new clothing line for Emanuel Ungaro poorly. Dina Lohan accused the media of waging a vendetta against her whole family! Paranoid? Maybe not..

Lindsay debuted her new creations at Paris Fashion Week in France recently and the press savaged the collection and Lindsay’s role in creating it. They were pretty harsh, some press calling it “an embarrassment”.

Dina suggests that quality of the collection was fine and Lindsay is just copping some of the abuse of mean spirited press who hate the Lohans! According to Dina Lohan: “Lindsay called me after the Ungaro show crying happy tears and then the press tore her apart… The show was great. The press is just not very nice to us. She’s just a little girl. God gave her a gift and she’s just trying to create. Enjoy her movies, enjoy her fashion, just leave her alone.”

Lindsay cried on the catwalk, calling the show “the hardest thing I’ve ever done”. Maybe stick to the movies Lindsay!

Well this is an interesting development! Lindsay Lohan’s younger sister Ali Lohan has been attacked by Frances Bean Cobain ‘for trying to forge a career off the back of her siblings fame’.

Frances Bean has been pushed into spotlight in the past by doting mother and drug addict Courtney Love (the yoko of the grunge era). Frances of course says she has never used her parents fame to get ahead – I guess it’s normal for teen girls to get the cover of glossy magazines for no reason?

Apparently Ali Lohan was getting special treatment at the recent Paris Fashion Week and Frances Bean went on the attack using twitter!! Good to see twitter used for ‘important stuff’.

One of the tweets reads: “Your (sic) not entitled to anything simply because your sister has a recognisable name. Your idea of fame isn’t fame. It’s infamy. You want to be famous? Work your ass off and make decisions that could potentially catapult your career into a lasting one. Notoriety for who you are and notoriety (sic) for the work you produce are two completely different things. I understand that you have been brought up in an environment where the idea of fame is easily achievable but, that’s not an excuse. You lack the talent, social understanding and credibility to be anything other then infamous.”

Frances Bean adds, “Your career choices, thus far, will transcend a future career as someone who attempted to be famous, but never quite achieved it”

Wait isn’t that too long for a tweet? Do celebrities get longer tweets? Anyhoo, nothing better than 2 privileged teens having a cat fight.

Only days ago, Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan spoke out in public about Lindsay’s supposed prescription drug addiction problem. Michael Lohan described his daughter as being ‘vacant inside’, not the nicest thing to say to your daughter via the press!

Now the entire Lohan family may be planning an intervention! Michael Lohan told RadarOnline.com: “I had a conversation with her, her mother and everyone…over the next couple of weeks I’m going to be doing things in a pretty public way, But Dina has got to get on the same page with me. It’s a serious situation. You can’t just talk about it and tell me that you want to do an intervention and then do nothing.”

Lindsay’s recent gaunt appearance and career downward spiral have been blamed on the drugs.. Michael Lohan: “I’m going to get her off the prescription drugs that she’s on. I hate it when people talk about illegal drug abuse… because it’s not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you. Prescription drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson.”

What drugs is Lindsay on? According to a source close to Lohan, Lindsay is on the following: Adderall (used for Attention Deficit Disorder), anti-depressant Zoloft as well as anti-anxiety and bi-polar drugs. Quite the cocktail.

Despite Michael Lohan being a scumbag for making such comments to the media about his daughter, if he is right it might just end up saving her life!

Well according to her dysfunctional dad she is… Michael Lohan wants his daughter off prescription drugs because they are sending her off the deep end apparently..

Michael says: “It’s not just drinking and illegal drugs that kill you, drugs can destroy and kill a person and are sometimes harder to stop. Look at Heath Ledger and Michael Jackson.”

He goes on to bag his daughter about her recent lack of film roles: “You know why Lindsay’s not acting in feature films right now? Because she can’t. Because the girl with all the talent is hidden and buried deep inside this fungus that’s grown because of the prescription drugs.”

He adds: “When you hug her she’s, like, vacant inside. When she kisses or holds me I get chills, and not in a good way — in a bad way.”

Oh wow, it sounds like Michael Lohan is an absolute douchebag, who the hell says those things about their daughter?? Seriously.

Lindsay Lohan participated in a Fashion show recently for the Paris Fashion Week Summer 2010 at Le Carrousel du Louvre. She was wearing a dress made by Spanish designer Estrella Archs. Apparently Lindsay is the fashion house’s new creative director.

Lohan explained exactly what her role as creative director entails: “We both kind of mixed our (ideas) together, and that’s why it came out so well. I really appreciate everything that goes into, like, any article of clothing. I think it’s fantastic and I think it’s so expressive in so many ways.”

Critics panned the show. As one critic said: “As for the clothes, they looked cheesy and dated…. Hot pink, orange and flashy, with an overworked heart motif relentless in its execution, the collection displayed none of the promised younger side Lohan was supposed to deliver.” Not good Lindsay!
